Portable energy devices: improvement obtainable by micro and nanotechnology

We offer technological activity on third generation solar cells, made in opur laboratories at the Politecnico di Torino. Starting from the original structure devised by M. Graetzel for the Dye Sensitized solar Cells (DSCs), nanotechnologies and nanostructured materials are under investigation to increase solar energy-to-current conversion efficiency, with the aim of designing a flexible solar cell able to work in diffuse light conditions, with small size and low weight.
