IIC creates solutions to complex problems for clients in the information technology fields.

Research, Development and Innovation centre

What we offer:
IIC has a long history in development and deployment of advanced algorithms like neural networks, statistic models, clustering and other automatic learning techniques. IIC also has ample experience collaborating with organizations implementing these processes in different activity areas such as renewable energy prediction, demand prediction and management and client modelling or system management in SOA environments.
IIC’s Predictive Models Unit’s (PMU) mission is to provide utilities and (TSO) with forecasting and insight on their wind and solar energy operations using state-of-the-art techniques in statistics and machine learning. We also develop modeling software for the impact on electric demand of the electric vehicle and of active demand management.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for companies that need solutions to complex problems in the information technology fields. We use
data mining techniques, algorithms and its own methodologies together with the development of products based on internal and collaborative research.
Our EA2 product combines database organization of historic meteorology and renewable energy information with advanced modeling and prediction for the short (hourly) and medium term wind and solar energy prediction. EA2 is a valuable tool for individual farm maintenance, operation and market as well as for electrical system operators that have to integrate and manage renewable energy with other generation systems, .
This software is complemented by Argestes Planner, a visualization tool that allows farm and system operators to monitor energy production and forecast management.

Collaboration sought:
  • Technical cooperation
  • Commercial cooperation
